Abstract
Dr. Armando Arias will discuss his award-winning book, Theorizing Cesar Chavez, which envisions how the labor leader would apply new teaching paradigms to STEM, recentering it on research and action to address community concerns and improve quality of life, with Chicana/o/x/e students taking the lead.
