Abstract

Environmental Studies students have actively planned and organized numerous projects both on and off campus from 2006-2013 in support of campus and community initiatives. Students work with government agencies, NGOs, for-profit businesses, and campus faculty and staff on projects of mutual interest to increase environmental and sustainability education and awareness, culminating in 2014 with the adoption of a UH System-wide sustainability policy by the University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents.
