Abstract
This publication in this journal in the Grants Clinic is a first. It is the first time the journal presents a proposal that is a follow-up to one presented in an earlier issue. The articles recounts how it is that Dr. Arias's project BESTNET was working so well that he applied for and received 2 additional rounds of funding (never before achieved) by the Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education. Important to note is that the request for funding was not just a renewal or a continuation. It was actually a new proposal that had to compete for funds with all other applications on a nation-wide basis.
