    I collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to enhance the learning, teaching, and research of languages and cultures through technology. In the classroom, I specialize in supporting heritage speakers of languages other than English to maintain and expand their language proficiency.

    Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a research focus on intercultural competence, experiential learning, and student engagement through reflection in digital storytelling. M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). 

    Before joining CSUMB, I was a Graduate TA for UMN Swedish language programs, taught Swedish for Minneapolis Community Education, and worked at the UMN Language Center. I lived and worked in Japan teaching English at various levels for three years.
