    About

My research lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship, gender, and psychology, with a particular focus on how founders shape the organizations they create. I investigate how gendered and racialized structures, perceptions, and interpersonal dynamics influence entrepreneurial decision-making and organizational outcomes. By examining founders’ imprinting processes, such as their use of power, control, routines, and social relationships, I seek to understand how individual identities and psychological orientations reverberate through new ventures. Ultimately, my work highlights the ways in which entrepreneurs’ lived experiences and social positions not only shape firm emergence but also contribute to broader patterns of inequality and opportunity within entrepreneurial ecosystems.
