About
My name is Dr. Renee Penalver, and I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I attended California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2011. I received my PhD in Social Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Texas at El Paso where I studied bilingual memory. I am excited to be back at the CSU now as a Professor.
