    Rebecca Pozzi (Ph.D., University of California, Davis) is an Associate Professor of Spanish Language and Linguistics at California State University, Monterey Bay, where she coordinates Lower Division Spanish, including the Heritage Language Program, and teaches courses in Spanish language, linguistics, and applied linguistics. Her research focuses on second and heritage language development, sociolinguistics, study abroad, and language pedagogy. Her publications include articles in journals such as Studies in Second Language Acquisition and Hispania as well as chapters in edited volumes from Routledge and Multilingual Matters.
