About
Dr. Cusick has been a Lecturer at California State University Monterey Bay since 2011, prior to that he coordinated the Environmental Studies undergraduate degree and certificate programs at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. His research interests in the area of human-environment relationships focus on places designated protected area status, where resident, conservation research, and tourism stakeholders converge, and he has conducted fieldwork related to sustainable development in the Hawaiian Islands, Japan, New Zealand, North America, and Latin America.
