Jason Lambert is an Assistant Professor of Management at California State University Monterey Bay who teaches courses on human resource management related topics. Before serving in higher education, his professional career spanned 10+ years in managerial roles in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. His research examines recruitment practices and how organizational policy, and culture affect the attitudes, values, beliefs and experiences of token employees. Dr. Lambert’s research has been presented at both regional and international conferences such as the Academy of Management and Southern Management Association. He has published book chapters and articles in notable outlets including but not limited to The Oxford Handbook of Diversity and Work, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Personnel Review, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
