    About

I am a proud first generation, student-athlete alumni from CSUMB! I received my bachelors and teaching credential from CSUMB.

With over five years of experience, currently serving as a Lecturer at CSUMB and SJSU while also teaching at Gonzales Elementary School, bringing a unique blend of academic and practical expertise in education. Skilled in university teaching, parent education, and conducting impactful workshops, with a focus on empowering students and fostering community engagement. Dedicated to shaping inclusive, collaborative learning environments that align with institutional goals and values. Proficient in leveraging bilingual education credentials (BCLAD), an M.Ed. and Ed.D in Educational Leadership to support diverse learners and enhance educational outcomes.

I am very interested in college outreach programs, especially for communities with socio-economic challenges. I believe that mentorship programs are also essential in order for students in the BIPOC and first generation communities to thrive and feel welcomed in a college environment. I also want to encourage other women to pursue their dreams, and if that means to get a doctorate degree than I believe you can be a part of that 1% that has it!
