I work with students, faculty, and staff to advance and support the learning, teaching, and research of languages and cultures through the use of technology. In the classroom, I support heritage speakers of languages other than English in maintaining and expanding their heritage language proficiency.
Prior to CSUMB, I was a Language Center Administrative  and Research Fellow, Graduate Teaching Assistant in Swedish, taught Swedish for Minneapolis Community Education, and taught English in Japan at various levels.
My M.A. is in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and I am ABD at Fresno State's Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
