About
Debra Busman is a Professor of Creative Writing and Social Action in the School of Humanities and Communication at CSU, Monterey Bay. She teaches in the fields of creative writing and social action, service learning, composition studies, literature, and media studies. She is passionate about students, social justice, community service, and literature that speaks truth to power. Professor Busman is the author of the novel Like a Woman, and co-editor of the award-winning anthology Fire and Ink: An Anthology of Social Action Writing.
